Grace Church exists to grow as disciples, to help others grow as disciples, and to make disciples. This priority doesn't cease to exist if you're under 18! Rather, we aim to equip our children and youth to be worshippers of God in the family of God.
For most of the children at Grace Church this begins at Grace Kids. Grace Kids doesn't exist as a babysitting service so dad and mom can worship without distraction, rather, it seeks to come alongside what parents are already doing as we aim to equip children to know and enjoy God.
Our desire is that the children and youth of Grace Church grow up knowing what it's like to be a part of the body of Christ. We want them to all experience singing praise to God with their parents, siblings, and friends, and we want families to have the privilege of sitting under God's Word together. With this in mind, every fifth Sunday we hold a Family Sunday, where we are all together for the entire service. These times are followed by a free pizza lunch for our entire church family and any guests.
For those who are too old to take part in Grace Kids each Sunday, we encourage them to sit with their families each Sunday morning. God speaks through His Word to all of us, young and old, each and every week. We don't want our young people to miss out on this wonderful opportunity.
In order to support this end, we hold a monthly get together on a Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM called Engaging God's Word. This is a low-key time where youth and their parents have a pizza dinner, play some group games, and talk about the Bible. Conversation is geared toward the following morning's sermon text. This time is meant to help our youth prepare to hear God's Word on Sunday and to engage God's Word throughout the week. If you'd like more information about this time please email us.
